How to use the Screenshot Beautifier

  1. 1Drop one or more screenshots.
  2. 2Choose a browser, phone or laptop frame, or no frame.
  3. 3Pick a gradient or solid background and adjust padding, shadow and corner radius.
  4. 4Set the output aspect (1:1, 4:5, 16:9, 9:16 or original).
  5. 5Click Beautify and download PNG, JPG or a ZIP of the batch.

Make screenshots look like marketing

A raw screenshot of your store, app or dashboard is a flat rectangle with sharp edges and whatever was on the taskbar. It looks fine in a bug report and poor on a product page, an app store listing or a LinkedIn post. The Screenshot Beautifier wraps the capture in a phone, laptop or browser frame, sets it on a gradient background, adds a soft shadow and rounded corners, and exports at whatever aspect ratio the destination needs.

How it works

  1. Drop one or more screenshots. Batch processing applies the same style to every file, which keeps a set of app store screens consistent.
  2. Choose a frame: a browser window with traffic-light dots and an address bar, a phone with a rounded body and notch, a laptop with bezel and base, or no frame at all. Frames are drawn as vector shapes in the browser, so they stay crisp at any size.
  3. Pick a background. Gradient presets cover the usual purple, blue, sunset and mono looks, or set two colours of your own. Solid colours and transparent PNG are also available.
  4. Adjust padding, shadow strength, corner radius and the output aspect: 1:1, 4:5, 16:9, 9:16, 3:2 or the original.
  5. Click Beautify and download PNG, JPG or a ZIP of the batch.

Why it matters

  • Apple's App Store wants 6.7-inch iPhone screenshots at 1290×2796 px, and Google Play accepts 320 to 3840 px per side at up to 2:1. Choose 9:16 with a phone frame and the tool produces both from the same capture.
  • A screenshot mockup on a landing page is the difference between "here is a settings page" and "here is a product". Sellers of digital goods, templates and Shopify apps use them as listing images.
  • On marketplaces, framed images are for secondary slots only. Amazon forbids borders, props and text on the main image, and eBay rejects added borders on listing photos. Use the beautified version as image two onwards, or in A+ content at 970×600.
  • Social feeds crop aggressively. A 16:9 export fits X and LinkedIn, 4:5 gets maximum height on Instagram, and 9:16 fills a story.

Tips

  • Capture at 2× device pixel ratio (a Retina or high-DPI screen) so the text stays sharp after the frame shrinks it slightly.
  • Hide personal data before you start. Blur account names, emails and order numbers in the capture first; a device frame screenshot gets shared widely.
  • Use a low-contrast gradient behind a busy interface and a bold one behind a simple screen; the background should not compete with the content.
  • Add a headline above the frame with the Text on Image / Caption Tool, which is the standard app store screenshot maker layout.
  • Want the screen inside a photographed device or scene rather than a drawn frame? Try the Product Mockup Placer. For a plain border on a photo, Add Border / Frame is simpler.
  • Resize the finished graphic for every network at once with the Social Media Image Resizer.

Privacy

Your images never leave your browser. Frames, gradients and shadows are rendered with the Canvas API on your own device, so confidential dashboards and unreleased app screens stay on your machine.

Frequently asked questions

What sizes do app store screenshots need?

Apple asks for 6.7-inch iPhone screenshots at 1290×2796 px and 12.9-inch iPad at 2048×2732 px. Google Play accepts JPG or PNG between 320 and 3840 px per side with an aspect ratio no wider than 2:1. Export at 9:16 with a phone frame, then check the pixel size matches the store you are targeting.

Can I use a framed screenshot as an Amazon or eBay listing image?

Not as the main image. Amazon requires the main image to show the product alone on pure white with no borders, props or text, and eBay disallows added borders and artwork. Framed screenshots work well as secondary images, in A+ content, and on your own store or social posts.

Does the frame use a real device photo?

No. The phone, laptop and browser frames are vector shapes drawn on the canvas, which keeps them crisp at any resolution and avoids trademark issues with branded device photos. If you want your screen placed into a photographed device or scene, use the Product Mockup Placer instead.

Can I process many screenshots with the same style?

Yes. Drop a whole set, set the frame, background, shadow and aspect once, and every file is rendered identically. That keeps a series of app store screens or a tutorial sequence consistent. Download the results individually or as one ZIP.

Why does my screenshot look blurry inside the frame?

The frame and padding shrink the capture to fit the output size. Capture at 2× scale on a high-DPI display, or choose a larger output size, so the interface keeps enough pixels after scaling. PNG output also avoids the JPG artefacts that make small text look smudged.
