Privacy policy

The short version

• Almost every tool runs entirely in your browser. Resizing, cropping, compressing, converting, PDF, OCR, QR codes and the rest never send your file anywhere.
• The background-removal tools are the one exception. They send a small copy of the photo to our own server, which separates the subject from the background and immediately discards it. Nothing is stored.
• We do not require an account and do not ask for personal information to use any tool.
• We may use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics and advertising in the future; if we do, this page will be updated first.

Files you process in your browser

For every tool except the ones listed in the next section, files are read by JavaScript running in your browser and processed with the Canvas API, Web Workers and models that run locally on your device. Results are generated in memory and offered as downloads. Nothing is transmitted to PixForSellers or any third party. Closing the tab discards everything. Each of these tools shows a green “Your images never leave your browser” badge.

The background-removal service

Cutting a person or product out of a photo needs a large machine-learning model. Running it on your device would mean an 84 MB download before you could start, so these tools use a service on our own server instead. They are marked with a blue “Processed on our server · never stored” badge: the Background Remover, Blue Background Photo Maker, Photo Background Colour Changer, Passport Photo Maker, Visa Photo Resizer and Product Colour Variant Generator.

What happens when you use one of them:

• Your browser makes a reduced copy of the photo, about 1000 pixels on the longest side, and sends only that. Your full-resolution original stays on your device.
• The server holds that copy in memory, computes a black-and-white outline of the subject, and returns only that outline. The copy is released as soon as the response is sent.
• Nothing is written to disk. No image is saved, logged, backed up, shared, sold, or used to train anything. There is no database of uploads.
• Your browser applies the returned outline to your original photo locally, so the final image is full quality and is assembled on your device.
• The service is on the same domain, reached over HTTPS, and responses are marked no-store.

If the service cannot be reached, the tool falls back to downloading the model and running it on your device, so it keeps working offline.

Model and asset downloads

AI tools download model files (for example the background-removal or OCR model) from this website's own domain. Your browser may cache those files using a service worker so they are not downloaded again. These downloads contain no information about you or your images.

Local storage

Some tools remember your last-used settings (such as a preferred output format) in your browser's local storage. This data stays on your device and can be cleared through your browser settings.

Server logs

Like any website, our hosting provider records standard access logs (IP address, user agent, requested page, timestamp) for security and capacity planning. These logs are not linked to any image content and are deleted on a rolling basis.

Advertising and analytics

PixForSellers is free and may display advertisements in clearly marked slots. If third-party advertising (such as Google AdSense) is enabled, that provider may use cookies as described in its own privacy policy, and a consent banner will be shown where required by law. Advertising scripts never have access to the images you process, which exist only in your browser's memory.

Children

PixForSellers does not knowingly collect any information from children.
