Product Infographic Maker
Build Amazon-ready infographic images: product photo, callouts, arrows, icons and feature bullets on a 2000×2000 canvas. Templates included. Free.
How to use the Product Infographic Maker
- 1Start from a template (feature callouts, benefits list, comparison or hero) or a blank 2000×2000 canvas.
- 2Drop in your product photo; a background-removed PNG gives the cleanest result.
- 3Add text callouts, arrows, shapes, icons and bullet lists, then set your brand colours and fonts.
- 4Export a PNG or JPG, and save the project as JSON so you can edit it later.
Turn a plain product photo into a listing image that sells
Most shoppers never read the bullet points. They scroll the image gallery, and if the second and third images do not explain why the product is worth buying, they leave. That is why almost every top listing on Amazon has infographic images: a product photo with callouts, arrows and a handful of benefits. The Product Infographic Maker gives you a 2000×2000 canvas editor and ready-made templates, so you can build those Amazon listing images without Canva, Photoshop or a designer.
How it works
- Templates. Choose from feature callouts (product in the centre, labelled arrows around it), benefits list (photo on one side, icon bullets on the other), comparison (two columns, your product against the alternative) and hero (large product with a headline). Or start from a blank canvas.
- Product image. Drop in a photo. If you have already run it through the Background Remover, it floats over any background colour you choose.
- Elements. Add text callouts, arrows, rectangles and circles, icons, and bullet lists. Everything is a layer you can drag, resize, rotate, reorder and recolour.
- Export. Download a PNG for graphics with flat colour, or a JPG when file size matters. Save the whole layout as a project JSON file and reopen it later to make a variant for another colour or size.
Why it matters
Amazon shows a gallery of up to seven images and the first one is locked down: pure white background, no text, no graphics, product filling 85 percent of the frame. Infographics go in slots two to seven, where text and graphics are welcome. The Amazon product image requirements guide has the full list. Amazon recommends 2000 px on the longest side so zoom works, which is exactly the canvas size here. The same file fits Shopify's 2048 px recommendation and TikTok Shop's 600 to 4000 px range, and it can be cropped to 4:3 for an Etsy thumbnail.
Text size is the mistake sellers make most. A 2000 px image is displayed at roughly 500 px on a phone, so text under 50 px in the file becomes unreadable. A rough guide:
| Element | Size on a 2000 px canvas |
|---|---|
| Headline | 120 to 160 px |
| Callout label | 70 to 90 px |
| Footnote or unit | 50 px minimum |
Tips
- One message per image. A product feature image with three to five callouts outperforms one with twelve.
- Reuse a colour set. Pick two brand colours and one accent and stay with them across all gallery images so the listing looks like one brand.
- Pair the infographic with a Size Chart Image Generator image for apparel and a Product Collage / Grid Maker image for bundles.
- For short slogans on a single photo, the Text on Image / Caption Tool is faster than opening the full editor.
- Save the JSON before exporting. When you launch a new colour variant, load the project, swap the photo, and export again in seconds.
Your product images stay on your device
The editor draws everything on a canvas inside your browser. Product photos, text and the saved project file are never uploaded, so unreleased products and pricing stay private. Close the tab and nothing remains anywhere but your own downloads folder.
Frequently asked questions
What size is the exported infographic?
The canvas is 2000×2000 px, which matches Amazon's recommended zoom size and comfortably exceeds the 1000 px minimum. Export as PNG for sharp flat colours and text, or JPG for a smaller file. The same image works for Shopify, eBay, Daraz and TikTok Shop, all of which accept square images at this size.
Can I put text on my Amazon main image?
No. Amazon's main image must be a pure white background with the product only: no text, logos, badges or graphics. Use the Product Infographic Maker for the secondary images, slots two to seven, where callouts and feature text are allowed and expected by shoppers.
Which templates are included?
Four starting points: feature callouts, benefits list, comparison and hero. Each is fully editable, so you can move, delete or recolour any element, swap the product photo, and change fonts. You can also begin with a blank 2000×2000 canvas and build a layout from scratch.
Can I save my work and come back later?
Yes. Save the project as a JSON file, which stores every layer, position, colour and text string. Load it later to edit, or use it as a template: swap the photo for a different colour variant and export a matching image in seconds. The file lives on your computer, not on a server.
Do I need to remove the background first?
Not strictly, but it looks better. A product with its background removed can be placed over any coloured backdrop and overlap shapes or arrows cleanly. Run the photo through the Background Remover, save it as PNG, then drop that PNG into the editor.
