Product Collage / Grid Maker
Arrange product photos in 2×2, 3×3 or custom grid layouts with spacing, borders and background colour. Export high-resolution PNG or JPG. No upload.
How to use the Product Collage / Grid Maker
- 1Drop two to nine product photos into the tool.
- 2Pick a layout: 2×2, 3×3, 2×1, 1+2 or a custom grid.
- 3Drag the thumbnails to reorder, then set gap, padding, border, corner radius and background.
- 4Choose the output size and export a PNG or JPG.
One image that shows the whole range
Marketplaces limit how many photos a listing gets: Daraz allows 8, TikTok Shop 9, Etsy 10, eBay 24, and Amazon displays only the first seven. When a product comes in six colours or a bundle has five parts, a photo grid maker lets you show all of them in a single slot. The Product Collage / Grid Maker arranges your photos into 2×2, 3×3, 2×1, 1+2 or custom grids, with the spacing and borders sellers actually need, and exports at the exact size each platform wants.
How it works
- Drop your photos. Each tile is filled with a centred crop, so mixed sizes still line up.
- Pick a layout. The presets cover the common cases and the custom grid lets you set any number of rows and columns.
- Drag the thumbnails to change the order. The hero position in 1+2 is the large tile.
- Style the grid: gap between tiles, outer padding, border width and colour, corner radius, and a background colour or transparency.
- Set the output size and export as PNG or JPG.
| Layout | Best for |
|---|---|
| 2×2 | Four colour variants or four angles |
| 3×3 | Nine-piece sets, Instagram grid teasers |
| 2×1 | Front and back, open and closed |
| 1+2 | One hero shot plus two details |
| Custom | Anything from 1×4 strips to 4×4 catalogues |
Why it matters
Output size is where a product collage usually goes wrong, because nine 3000 px photos should not become a 9000 px file. Set the output to the target instead: 2000×2000 for an Amazon secondary image, 2048×2048 for a Shopify collection image, 2000×1500 for an Etsy 4:3 thumbnail, 1080×1080 for Instagram. Daraz caps files at 3 MB, so export JPG rather than PNG there. And remember that a collage is a secondary image on Amazon, eBay, Daraz and TikTok Shop: the first image must be one product on a white background, no borders or added graphics.
Tips
- Use a consistent background across all source photos before combining them. A grid of white-background shots looks like a catalogue; a mix of white and grey looks like a mistake.
- Set the gap to about 1 to 2 percent of the output width, 20 to 40 px at 2000 px, so tiles read as separate without wasting space.
- Rounded corners with a radius of 30 to 60 px soften a variant grid for social posts; keep corners square for marketplace images.
- Square up odd-shaped photos first with the Square Image Maker so the auto-crop does not cut off a product edge.
- Want the opposite effect, one photo cut into a 3x3 grid image for Instagram? Use the Image Splitter.
- Add a frame to the finished collage with Add Border / Frame, or compare two states with the Before / After Image Maker.
Nothing uploaded, nothing stored
The grid is composed on a canvas in your browser. Your images never leave your browser, the output has no watermark, and there is no queue or account. Rearranging, restyling and re-exporting takes a second because every step is local.
Frequently asked questions
What is the largest grid I can make?
The presets go up to 3×3, and the custom grid lets you set rows and columns freely, so a 4×4 or a 1×6 strip is possible. Practically, tiles under about 300 px each are hard to read on a phone, so at a 2000 px output stick to 16 tiles or fewer.
How do I get a 3×3 grid image for Instagram?
Drop nine photos, choose the 3×3 layout, set the output to 1080×1080 and export JPG. That gives a single post with nine tiles. If you want nine separate posts that form one picture on your profile, use the Image Splitter instead, which cuts one image into a 3×3 set.
Will photos of different sizes line up?
Yes. Each tile is filled with a centred cover crop, so portrait and landscape photos are trimmed to the tile shape and align perfectly. If a crop cuts off something important, adjust the source photo first, for example by padding it to square with the Square Image Maker.
Can I use a collage as my Amazon main image?
No. Amazon, eBay, Daraz and TikTok Shop require the first image to show a single product on a plain white background with no borders or graphics. Use the collage in a secondary slot to show colour variants, bundle contents or multiple angles at 2000×2000.
PNG or JPG for the export?
PNG if you used a transparent background or want lossless edges on flat colours. JPG for everything else: it is far smaller, which matters for Daraz's 3 MB limit and page speed on Shopify. A 2000×2000 JPG at quality 90 is usually 400 to 900 KB.
