If you sell clothing, shoes or jewellery, sizing questions are the biggest drag on your conversion rate and the leading reason for returns. A size chart buried in the description as plain text rarely gets read. A clean chart image in the listing gallery does. The Size Chart Image Generator turns a simple table into a branded size chart image in a couple of minutes, with automatic cm-to-inch conversion so international buyers are covered by the same file.

How it works

1. Choose a preset. The t-shirt preset comes with chest, length and shoulder columns across XS to 3XL; the shoe preset maps EU, UK and US sizes to foot length; the ring preset lists inside diameter and circumference. A blank table is also available.
2. Edit the table directly. Add or delete rows and columns, rename headers and type measurements. Enter values in either centimetres or inches; the tool converts the other unit for you (1 inch is 2.54 cm) and can show both columns side by side.
3. Style it. Pick a header colour, alternate row shading, border colour, one of the bundled fonts, and drop your logo into a corner.
4. Export a PNG at the output size you choose.

Why it matters

Amazon allows text and graphics on every image except the main one, so an Amazon size chart image belongs in one of the secondary slots, exported at 2000×2000 so it stays readable when zoomed. Etsy listings hold up to 10 photos and crop the first to 4:3; a chart at 2000×1500 fits that ratio and works well as the last photo in the set. Shopify has no rule against charts and many themes show a size guide image in a pop-up. Check the Amazon requirements and Etsy photo rules for the current limits. Whatever the platform, a chart that is legible on a phone screen, roughly 500 px wide, needs numbers at least 50 px tall on a 2000 px image.

Tips

• Measure the garment flat and say so in a footer note; body measurements and garment measurements are not the same thing.
• Give a dual-unit chart to any listing that ships internationally. Daraz shoppers think in cm, US shoppers in inches.

• Keep one chart per product type. A single all-sizes chart for shirts, hoodies and joggers confuses more than it helps.

The chart is rendered on a canvas in your browser; your table, logo and exported image never leave your browser. Nothing is stored between visits except the file you download, so you can build charts for unreleased products without worrying about where the data goes.
