A promotion only works if people see it. A red SALE badge in the corner of a listing image or a FREE SHIPPING ribbon across a social post lifts click-through, but building those badges in a design app for fifty products is slow and consistency slips. The Meme / Label Maker puts a template badge or classic meme text on one image or a whole batch, with the same position, colour and size on every file.

How it works

  1. Drop your images. The batch can mix sizes; badges scale relative to each image's width so they look the same on a 1000 px and a 3000 px file.
  2. Choose a mode. Badge offers SALE, NEW, 50% OFF, HOT, FREE SHIPPING and a custom text field, in circle, rounded rectangle, ribbon (corner or banner) and starburst shapes. Meme puts bold white text with a black outline at the top and bottom of the image, the classic meme maker format.
  3. Set colours, font size, opacity and rotation, then place the badge in one of nine anchor positions or drag it anywhere.
  4. Preview on any image in the batch, then click Apply to all.
  5. Download JPG, PNG or WebP files individually or as a ZIP.

Why it matters

Know where badges are allowed before you add a sale sticker to an image.

  • Amazon bans text, logos and graphics on the main image; a badge there gets the listing suppressed. Use badges on secondary images or in A+ content instead.
  • Daraz prohibits promotional text and watermarks on product images, and eBay rejects added text or artwork on listing photos.
  • TikTok Shop wants the first image clean, but later images and video covers can carry offer badges.
  • Facebook ads perform worse when text covers more than 20% of the image, so keep badges small and off-centre for paid posts.
  • Your own Shopify or WooCommerce store, Instagram, WhatsApp catalogues and email are fair game, and that is where a bright badge earns its keep.

Tips

  • Use one badge colour per campaign and stick to it; a red SALE and a green NEW side by side look cluttered.
  • Keep the badge under 20% of the image width so it reads as a label, not a poster.
  • For meme text, short lines win. Two words on top and three at the bottom is the sweet spot; the outline keeps it legible over any photo.

Frequently asked questions

Can I put a SALE badge on my Amazon main image?

No. Amazon's main image must show only the product on pure white with no text, logos or graphics, and a badge there can get the listing suppressed. Put the badge on secondary images, in A+ content, on your own store, or in social posts instead.

Which badge shapes and texts are included?

Presets for SALE, NEW, 50% OFF, HOT and FREE SHIPPING, each available as a circle, rounded rectangle, corner or banner ribbon, and starburst. Type any custom text, such as a different percentage or a local-language phrase, and it uses the same shapes and styling.

How does the meme mode work?

Enter top text and bottom text. The tool draws them in a bold condensed font, white with a black outline, centred at the top and bottom edges in the classic format. Font size scales with the image, so the same settings work across a whole batch.

Can I apply the same badge to many photos?

Yes. Drop up to 200 images, set the badge once, and it is placed at the same relative position and size on every file. Preview any image in the set before applying. Download individually or as a ZIP in JPG, PNG or WebP.

Will the badge look the same on different image sizes?

Yes. Badge size is set as a percentage of the image width, so it looks identical on a 1000 px thumbnail and a 3000 px master file. If you need a fixed pixel size instead, resize the images to matching dimensions first and then run the batch.
